Meluzyna
Digital collage. Love Story.
Meluzyna is entirely made by me. The work consists of almost a hundred elements and is based on a self-portrait.
Whales are my spirit animals. A vision of a collage based on them was following me for a long time but I couldn’t come up with an idea for it. One day I found that one picture. You can see a whale’s eye in it staring right back at you. At that moment I finally felt what story I want to tell. A love story.
The title of this work refers to a well-known song in Poland, Meluzyna, performed by Małgorzata Ostrowska in the 1986 cult film Mr Inkblots Travels.

The Ivory Tower

The Ivory Tower is created by me. I used over a hundred photographs of nature, architecture and self-portraits.
This is a story about the Empress from the Ivory Tower. She lives with her family, on the sea of flowers, surrounded by opal mountains. Her eyes sparkle with gold. That's because today is June 23. The most important time of the year.
